This wedding goes down as one of my favorites to date. I had the privilege of capturing the sweetest couple in Northern Michigan on the most perfect September day for an outdoor wedding. Abby and Ryan wanted their day to feel relaxed and just a fun celebration of their love with friends and family. It was all of that and so much more. Abby went with a minimal chic style for her wedding. It was perfect because the beauty of their venue, A Matter of Taste at Tapawingo, speaks for itself. She chose delicate white roses for her florals along with greenery and tall candles and pops of blue for an accent color. The ceremony took place under a stunning willow tree overlooking a lake. Cocktail hour was outside in the venues courtyard and the reception took place under the large, open air, white tent. This venue has everything you could ask for when it comes to a minimal, classic aesthetic. Everything is in one place and the landscaping of the venue is picture perfect. Abby and Ryan didn’t stop smiling all day and neither did I. It was easy to see where Abby and Ryan get their kind hearts from because their family and friends were such a joy to be around. It truly was the best day celebrating these two and I wish I could relive it all over again!
